The K. Lipiński and H. Wieniawski Competition is held once every three years in Lublin, the hometown of the Polish violinist Henryk Wieniawski, since 1979, which is one of the oldest and largest international violin competitions for young violinists. Su Mingxuan also receives long-term loan of top Italian violin from YAF.
